can you guess the character of a person from his/her avatar?

I like this discussion. And I'm more than happy to answer it. I'm a detailed oriented person, it's my nature to notice the little things in life. And I noticed that I always stare at the avatars. Then I do wonder what they are actually like. However, you can get a sense of the individual by reading what they type. I hope no one thinks I'm too sarcastic or an idiot. Those are some fears of mine. I hope my understanding translates through what I'm typing.

its possible but you can not guess 100% if the avatar is their own

maybe if you or im going to pay much attention with it and have some focus on the profile itself ...but i guess only on the superficial way...maybe their likes..which we can of course detect through their posted discussions and somehow know just a bit of what kind that person is...like my avatar..moving flowers/roses..which obviously i like flowers especially roses..

There are times that I could somehow guess the person's character behind the avatar, others are after reading ones post or responses. But that's it I can only guess and more often than not, I'm wrong. Most of the avatars I see are objects, animals, plants and others stuff that one wont normally use, so the more it is difficult. I often have a hard time determining the gender behind one, even with pictures sometimes because they are small. For those that are new to me I normally would check their profile. i find it amusing to guess the character behind them, some are a complete mystery, some are deep, some are funny and some are a bit strong. Like yours, I would guess your a bit reserve. Would you imagine me being funny?
