my famiy is thinking of buying a SUV, we all agreed if ever we buy a SUV it would be a honda CRV. do you think it would be a smart move to purchase a 2.4 liter SUV with prices of gasoline getting higher every week? additional information is that we will only use that SUV as a spare car since i have my own car a honda civic. we'll use that said SUV during the number coding day of my car. bigger car means larger gas tanks and also means lot of money to buy for the gasoline. and for the brand and type of vehicle, would you also agree with me that the honda crv best suited SUV for our family. i would surely appreciate your help in making a big time decisions in this matter. thank you in advance.

honestly don't have any idea regarding the specs of car coz im not a car lover.,but one thing i know for sure that the best way to think off first before buying a car or a van is how will that car consume gas.,because as you've said gasoline are pretty much high now and i guess you wouldn't want to get your money all the way to your car and have nothing to buy aside from the gasoline.,and i think one of the good thing you should do just to cut off the expenses for gas is to carpool with your family or use one car if ever your going to same place or something.,be a responsible person by making use of your money wisely., don't spend too much buying something that is not really important., have a nice day ahead!

55 pesos for 1 liter of gasoline i might think harder if i'll purchase a vehicle with a very big gas tank? i might buy it then just park my car at my garage.

Honestly with gas prices as high as they are and getting hire I would not suggest getting an SUV because they are usually huge gas guzzlers but if you were going to get one I would definitely recommend the Honda CRV because it seems to be very dependable and a little bit better on gas,and it is definitely the best choice for your family.

Hey buddy! Hopefully I'm not too late to offer any advice... If you have a gas 'saving' vehicle in your civic, I would say the CRV would be a pretty good choice for a spare/family car! It's safe, from what I've read, and it's not the biggest SUV by any means. My wife and I had to break down and get an SUV to make preparations for our daughter's arrival. It hasn't been to bad, though. When possible we use my car (the smaller of the two) to save a little gas. I don't know your exact situation regarding financial status and so-forth, but I would say you've considered the possibilities and weighed the outcome very nicely! I think the CRV would be a good fit.

nope your not that late for your advice. we're still evaluating all that we need to know about the car and how would it cost like the monthly and the insurance. yup, i know the all new CRV is an awesome vehicle and it has very good reviews by car enthusiast. yup, this suv will be a spare car and we will just use this during Thursdays or in the weekends because my civic is color coding during Thursdays so we need a spare car for that. the continuing rise of gasoline is what im afraid off because even though its a spare car we need to fill it up with gas. we always makes it a point to have my car always in full tank so that we can save a little gas intake. for my financial status im just a regular businessman coping up with all the difficulties of life. all the prices are getting up but our income are getting smaller and smaller. thank you for your time in answering my little problem. I'll message you again once we bought the suv. maybe in july or august. thank you again and have a nice day.
