How does it benefit Mylot?

I know i am being a curious cat but i wanted to know how our discussions benefit mylot? How is it that mylot is able to pay us,where does mylot get the money from? I actually shouldnt be bothered as far as i am getting paid, but this question was playing in my head!

I haven't actually thought about that before but maybe it's their way of keeping members interested in the site.
