I don't think I have ever met anybody that don't like chocolate chip cookies. I you like to dunk your chocolate chip cookies in your coffee, here's a recipe that will save you a step. Ingredients You Need: 3/4 cup almonds (slivered) 1/3 cup instant coffee granules 2 2/3 cups flour 3/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 pound butter (at room temperature) 1 1/4 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs 2 cups chocolate chips How To Prepare: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Toast almonds on a baking sheet in oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes and allow to cool completely. Dissolve coffee granules in 2 tablespoons of hot water. Combine flour, soda and salt. With a mixer at medium speed beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in cooled coffee, vanilla and eggs. Add in flour mixture while beating at low speed. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets about 3 inches apart. Bake until edges start to brown, generally about 10 minutes. Cool for a couple minutes on cookie sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely. What do you think of this recipe? For more chocolate chip cookie recipes go to my website
