The 20-20 Format Vs One Day Format

The 20-20 format has gained a great impact among the Cricket fans and ruined the one day format . Lots of excitements , thrills and huge crowd for this short 20-20 format. We fans like to see some great sixes and fours in a match . If more than 400 runs are scored in 20-20 , then why we need to go for One day matches .
Is this the End of One day format ? what do you say ?

for sure i prefer 20 20 format for the shortest version of the game with more zeal and short span of result and great fervour pitch and fun to watch
