I love making fried chicken. flour cayenne pepper (its not hot, I promise... unless you want it to be) seasoned salt black pepper garlic powder bag of chicken 2-3 eggs buttermilk oil for frying Preheat oil in a safe pan. We use cast iron for frying. Combine dry ingredients in a resealable container. I don't use measurements because it is really to taste. Add some and taste the flour. No, it won't be gross flour. lol. It won't taste like much of anything, but a good rule of thumb is 1 tbsp/per 2 c. flour except with the cayenne... 1 tsp should be plenty for the no-hot stuff people. Cut chicken into strips or nuggets, or if they are drums, pieces or whatever... prepare the chicken. Scramble the eggs, add a splash of buttermilk. Dip chicken into egg mixture and roll in flour mixture. Drop into oil. Fry until the chicken floats. A little longer for the bone in chicken. Take out and drain in paper towel lined pan.

My favourite comes in a pack and is called Dinner Winner. You brown 1/2 kilo of mince (ground beef) with onions, some carrots, peas, corn, heck anything like that you like. Then open the pack and pour in the macaronni shells, add water and fast simmer till the water is gone. Finally adding and stirring in a satchel of flavour that comes in the pack. I usually get the curry one. Simply but very tasty with very little preparation and about 20 mins cooking time. The girlfriend loves it too when I make it.

My kids love it when I make those Lil Smokies (or as they call them 'weiners') I put them in the crockpot with some grape jelly, ketchup, and picante sauce and mix all 3 ingriedents together and then drop in the lil smokies and cook them for about 2 hours and their done! Easy as pie! I usually make some cheese dip and have chips and dip to go with the lil smokies.

I loved those things as a kid. These days I can't eat too much fat because my gallbladder was removed, but I remember those things.
