I know that many of us never got the chance to become what we dreamed of being as we were growing up. So, what do you want or did you want to be when you grow up? Me, a criminal defense attorney. I am 31 and decided that now that my kids are older I can finally follow my dream so I am in college getting a Bachelor in Criminal Justice and then I will go onto law school afterward.

As a child I wanted to be a big rig (truck) driver.. when my family used to take long driving vacations, I always admired the large trucks and their command of the road. Plus they were usually nice when we signalled them to sound their horns! Plus as a kid, it seemed to me that they were always on vacations,,staying hotels, eating in restaurants. Of course I learned later in life, it was still just work. At least I still enjoy driving on my own holidays :)

Yes but there where times when I thought that I would never get my dream job. The key is to never give up.

I wanted to be an architect or author. I started going to school for architecture and absolutely loved it but with 3 kids that I homeschool it got to be too much. So now i'm working on a book. Actually, several of them.
