One of my friend's passed away this past Saturday. I went to highschool with him and he used to live down the street from me. He overdosed on heroin. I hadn't seen him for a couple years down but I did just see him the weekend before last. I was driving and he was walking up the street. I couldn't stop cause the way the road was people parked their cars on the street. The police are investigating his death. Both neighbours and friends, and you did not get the chance to talk, that really is sad. You have my condolences. I think we should talk to our friends more often, and tresure them more, to avoid feeling worse if they past away. Ow boy, i read the story - just 25 years old ? That really is sad.

I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to stop and chat with him. It is hard when we lose friends this way. Tragic deaths that could have been prevented if the people wanted help. I have lost a couple of friends over the years to overdoses and it is never easy. You sit and wonder if anything you could have said to them would have changed the way things turned out.
