I dont follow football that much these days! But i used to follow football when agentina and maradona played at thier best. So i have to say that my favotie footballer was maradona of the 80's and the early 90's. But these days i'm not a fan of maradona coz of he has stopped being a role model off the field.

its surely cristiano ronaldo....my favorite cr7....he is streets ahead of kaka or messi ....he is a great dribbler ,good finisher ,awesome ball control .... the qualities that he has developed during his years at manchester are his areal abilities ,free kicks( he is a maestro isn't he) ....he runs faster than most of the defenders which makes him so so dangerous ....not to mention those 40 yard out shot which stunts the whole world....sometimes you really think is he a human....or a footballing god!!!!!!!!

I agree that C Ronaldo is the best player at Manchester United but not in the world.I don't really like C Ronaldo because he sometimes like to act like he is a pro and everyone who see him taking the ball will not tackle him and letting him keep dribling.My favourite player is W Rooney.He is a good player and always letting C Ronaldo scored goals.I think he change his style of kicking penaltys.No matter where he kick the penalty 20% of the chance he is missing and 80% of the chance he is scoring.When there is penalty for Manchester United,i will be very scared that later he will miss.I am not really like him. Do u agree?

i agree that right now he's THE best player in the world but it won't last long though , a footballer's career comes in cicle.One season they are the best in the world ,next season they just sit on the bench.just look at ronaldinho,he's behind the likes of bojan krkic and dos santos in barca's pecking order.Anyway,ronaldo will definitely be fifa player of the year if he can bring the euro08 trophy to portugal.Do you think he can make it?

Hmm.....yea, you are right in someways, but I think Lionel Messi will soon be the best, when he is around 22 or 23, and Ronaldo and Ronladinho have gone out of their prime.
