Official call while in leave

when i am on leave than I AM ON LEAVE for real.I tell my office that i can be reached on mail IF required and on Phone IF VERY IMPORTANT and thats it.I dont entertain officail calls cos i dont want to and i dont

I do because it's a "necessary evil". Sometimes it's quite difficult specially if you already have committed to a schedule outside of work, but I really can't refuse more importantly if you are being called by your boss, or, if something urgent or emergency happens. I have rescued many situations in my previous employments, they're just worth it.

Yes. I had, in a couple of occasions, answered my boss' calls. Waiting for reports and performance ratings of my team. Well, it comes with the job. I also ask my lead to report to me important matters and most of all, attendance. I get jumpy when I get a message that someone's not around.

yes i would answer my call from my supervisor if ever. as nurse's we're on call nurses too. i would go to my work if my service is needed.
