Firefox Inactive Tab Refreshes When Clicked

Have you ever had a problem with Firefox refreshing tabs? I use Mozilla Firefox, and have been using it for more than a year, but recently I got a strange bug: after opening several tabs the tabs refreshed themselves when I clicked a hidden tab to bring it to the foreground. I found the reason: the problem was that I installed Skype, and it also installed an add-on for Firefox without my consent. I disabled and then uninstalled the extension via Tools-Add-ons and Firefox started to work normally. Watch out, friends, this might be very dangerous for your online security. After installing new versions of Skype check your Firefox behavior.

Hello, stribijev! I, too, have been using FireFox as my browser. But never have I encountered that kind of bug before, probably because I don't install add-ons or Skype. But you (and other Fx users) should be careful in installing add-ons, especially those made by other developers other than Mozilla(for more verified and trusted add-ons, go to the Mozilla homepage instead).

Yes, I know what you mean. The page that contains information about problematic Firefox extensions is at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions - I have already found it myself, but the fact that SKYPE's add-on harms a computer is worrying. I did not expect it from Skype.
