Story about your picture or avatar?

guys i knew and you knew too that we have a different pictures here and some others don't change the default pic
like me, my story for this is i don't have time to change cause some busy stuff to do. but fortunately others put their own pictures and other got pictures from cartoons,from a celebrity.
So there must be a reason for selecting or choosing your avatars.
Please let us discuss about it...

The picture I have as an avatar was taken a few years back (4 or 5 or so) when I trimmed down from 252 lbs to 165 lbs. I can't forget the feeling of being slim. It was so memorable since I was able to accomplish that through very hard work. It did take toll on my body though. 
I'm now at 205 lbs. A bit bulky but I keep that picture to remind me of what can I do and what potential mistakes I can get.

In my case I choose my real picture, but when found out that most people preferred to use an avatar, I used this one.
I like the word smile,simply because you may not be able to see the person whom you are talking or exchanging views with, maybe a word be fine, lol.
