why pay more for eyeliner

Yep, i agreed with most of you. I used to buy those $3 worth of eyeliner (the pencil ones). They made me have very obvious panda eyes with black smudge underneath my eyes. Until sometime this year my cousin got this Maybelline eyeliner free from her conference and gave it to me. The maybelline eyeliner that I'm using is in the form of "wax" like material, not pencil ones where you need to sharpen them. So far, this is the best eyeliner I've used as it stays on quite well. It cost around $11-$12 here in Australia. But the bad about this eyeliner is that it uses up quite quickly as the "wax" like material is quite small in diameter, and also it is kind of fragile if too much force applied when you put it on.

I use a brand called australis and it works for me. It only costs 10 dollars. It doesn't smudge and run all down my eye like with cheap ones where u have to keep checking your eye and wiping it away.

The reason is that the cheaper ones smear/smudge and everything and not all girls want that. My eyeliner costs me about $10 when I get it and it stays on perfectly where I want it to be. I used to use eyeliner that cost about $1 maybe a bit more and it would always end up wayy underneath my eye and it looked terrible. Then I bought some M.A.C eyeliner and its never gone under my eye and looks good.

I never understood that myself. My eyeliner is Wet & Wild and I have never had an issue with it. It looks the same as the expensive stuff when I wear it. It doesn't smudge on me unless I heat it up first. I think I paid $1.19 for mine.

I buy MAC eyeliner because it really lasts longer than cheapo ones. I have very oily lids and eyeliners usually fades and smudges on me after an hour even with a good primer.

some people are brand loyal, meaning they stick to one brand, so they'll like one brands foundation, and not mine dropping alot of money on it. which for foundation you should. and theyll just pickup the expensive liner. but in other cases, different brands have different ingredidents. some give the different looks that people want. the staying power. or the color. i have a friend who swears that her stila smudge pot in black is a darker black then the mac fluidline in blacktrack...theyre exactly the same shade
