I just got home from work and I am pissed. Have you ever had one of those Supervisors that hangs with a small group of the workers so they can do whatever they want to do. We are very busy at work right now and it seems the same people always wander around doing nothing while the rest of us bust our humps to get the work out. The same ones disappear when things need to be cleaned up and they are the first ones on break and the last ones back from break. They can stand around talking because they are in the circle of friends with the supervisor. So what do you do?? Do you go higher and tell the plant manager what is happening? I just lost a job when I didn't keep my mouth shut so I am a little afraid of that move. HELP anyone?

I cannot tell You what to do. But if I was in that situation I can say what I might do. Keeping that in mind please. I Am sure I would want to say something. I Am also sure I wouldn't say anything. I would however do what You are doing and at the same time keep a notebook. I would note times dates incidents, issues, and names. I might even consider typing them up and leaving a copy on a desk somewhere. I would also consider writing it all in a 3rd party. Include Your name and everyones name. I might even go so far as to write it in a notebook then type it up and print out a sheet at a time and conviently locate where Someone of interest might appreciate it. But I Am positive I would be sure it got to the Person who could do something about it. I would probably wait til You had 2 weeks worth of information that is superb behavior issues that You can then either mail or stick in a vehicle or leave on Someone's desk unbeknown to Anyone. This way The right Person has every bit of initive to do Their own checking and make Their own decisions concerning the issues at hand. Be sure that no matter what the paper trail never leads to You. God Blesses! Good luck and I definately would consider looking for better employment all along. Always helps to be needed elsewhere.

Some very good ideas. I will definately consider all of these thoughts. I know I am not the only person at work fired up about this and maybe someone else will open their mouth but a notebook would sure do the trick.
