If you want a change, start it with yourself

As a citizen for one nation, we often complain and get iritated with what is going on in our government. True, our present situation particularly here in the Phillipines causes more and more citizens to complain and ask why and desire a change. oil price hike, energy price increase, basic goods increase, all in one inflation, what is good that is left inside our country? others says nothing at all and they live and strive in foreign land. If you ask them why, they said they want a change. But change my fellowmen is very hard to achieve when you want it from outside ourselves, some great authors says " Great change must start from within" It must be simple. If we want change, start it from ourselves, from most simple one to more complicated. Why dont we start to change our Negative to positive outlook, then from hyper to coolness, from selfish to openness, from greed to sharing, from weak to strong and from hatred to love. A simple change that start within ourselves, shared with other may burst into few, into half and into whole being. If we were be able to change ourselves from good to better, it might be possible for everybody to do the same and change the world... ahhh! wishful thinking? no it's not. It is possible! ( I started it, I change my impossibility thinking to more possible and achievable aim ) What about you? what kind of change have you started?

stop crab mentality..stop pulling one another let us all help each other..nothing will happen if we continue on pulling those who are on top of us..i do agree that if we all want a change let us all start it within ourselves. start in very simple things to your own home, then to the community, town, province then our country..let us all help let us unite..start within ourselves..start unity within our family..be an example to others then hope for a better outcome

I heard that in the Phillipines, whole villages supported each other but when people from other villages came around, they were treated as the enemy. So the government stepped in and imposed taxes to support what you imagined was the enemy but really wasn't. So now you imagine that personal change can take you back to the good ole days? In reality when whole communities join together to support each other then change will be effective.

It never happen all the time, some villagers do some other are more social. Well, It's hard to change the world so rather than dreaming to change it whole, why not start with ourselves? somehow, this way we can help others to change and others will encourage some to do the same and that's the start of the process. have a nice day!!

weve been to 3 dramatic political revolutions, we tend to forget that easy, when all the highs of bringing down a corrupt government through coming together and protesting peacefully in the streets, feeling so emotionally filled coz you think youre part of something realy great, are gone, and hardwork starts, we dont want anything to do with changing the kind of government we have anymore, were all there just for the feel of it, after the drama we again choose the same kind of leaders we used to have, let em f*ck us all like they always do, then what? start another peaceful dramatic revolution? it has lost its credibility, maybe we need to just kill em all, that'll teach em and the next ones that will come after them, but wait we dont have what it takes, we only do something for our country if that something feels good, like youre little speech there, irritating

My thinking is more positive than what you believe, even in the worst situation I am still be able to come up with positive cause rather than complain. Change is for everybody and I am not after about changing leaders or government rules if thats what are you trying to imply... read my post cautiously,, I am talking about change that must start from thyselves and perhaps helps other to get inspired and do the same. Fellow, its possible to have good changes and that does not mean change the person literally but the attitude, the view, the goal and the belief itself. I ain't got involved in any protest because it does not help, Its a change of personality from good to better that I am talking about.

and that is the most complicated one. We cannot force individual to go for a good change, it is always a personal choice to do or not to do.
