Are you a people person?

Some people like being around people, being sociable and feel really down and lonely if they are alone. Whereas other people find that people annoy them even if they are not really doing anything annoying, they just prefer to be left alone.
What type of person are you?
I am a people person, whether they are nice people or nasty people they make the world a more interesting place, nice people you can talk to and make you smile, whereas nasty people show you the type of person that you do not want to be and give you a story or two to talk about with your nice people. Sometimes I like being alone though, if I wake up in a bad mood then I would rather be left alone, because I hate snapping at people when they don't deserve it.

There are times I feel like staying home the whole day and not meet anyone. There are times which I feel like hanging out with my friends in some cafe to catch up on old times.
I guess it really depends on my mood.
Currently, I am yearning for a day when I can stay home the whole day and relaxed. I guess I've been meeting too many people and working too much and that's why I am feeling that way.

I am so glad that I am staying in tonight, because someone annoyed me at work and that kind of put me off people for the day. So I am relaxing today and then I will be ready for more people tomorrow. Hopefully you get a day or a few days to relax and not have to face people for a while soon.

I prefer to be around anyone, especially at night when I'm often alone. I tend to spend too much time chatting with nearly anyone, and end up losing time I don't have!

I'm sorry to hear that! 
I am lonely at night--I had to finally surrender my dog at the end of April, I don't live with anyone (my daughter chose to live with her dad), so most of my social contact comes through my work. Hopefully you'll figure something out soon!

I am starting to get a little lonely at night as I was used to being at my boyfriends until 10:45 getting home for 11 and then going straight to bed or going on the computer for an hour, but as he is no working I don't get that and don't seem to have anything to fill the time. One of my friends asked me to go out over the town, but as I have like £5 in my purse there was little point as that is only enough for taxi money.

I am not a people person. No very sociable, But i like to sit arund just to listen "speak up" peoples. you know, the one that always have stories to tell, i'm a listener then a talker.

I am the person that likes to tell the stories. If I don't have stories to tell then I pass opinions on other people's stories.

I hate being at home with only my own company for an entire day, even going out to look for a magazine with my boyfriend for half an hour was nice as it broke my "sitting at home doing nothing" day up.

Thanks. I actually like to make new friends as it adds a new level to the group with new opinions and interests and things like that. I find it really interesting talking to new people, part of the reason that I like mylot.

Hi,
I am definitely a people person. I love conversation and being around people of all cultures. In my job, public school system, I see and deal with people from all walks of life and I love it. They all think I'm the best because they rarely see me without a smile. Anyone can tell you if you ever saw me not smiling and enjoying my surround, then something has to be seriously wrong. I love life and people. I don't know any other way to be, nor would I want to be any other way.

I am glad that you enjoy your job and it links into your personality of being a people person. I currently work in retail and when the shop is open we have to at least appear happy all the time. However, I could never do your job as I do not enjoy the company of children and the school system public or otherwise has an abundance of children :P

Hello Elixiress. I have to say that if I am not in the mood or if I am busy with my work, I like to be left alone without being bothered. In most cases except that I am not in the mood, I love to be with other people that I like.

well, i think im a combination of both..if i am in a bad mood i like to be alone..otherwise i try my best to talk and get along with people...being a peoples person is always nice so that u get to know others and get a chance to mingle with...

I seem to be getting the impression that most people like being alone when they are in a bad mood. However, I am not sure if this is a good idea as I know I tend to just sit and over think things.

Hi there Elixiress my friend. I think i can say i am a people person, although i am not the heart of a party if you know what i mean.
I do like to be around people most of the times, but i do enjoy my privacy pretty often as well from time to time depending on the mood of course.

I think I'm a mix of both. Most days I'll want to spend time with people. I'd want to walk around the mall, meet new people, and the sort. But there are some of those days when I just want to left alone to read or catch up on a few shows by myself. Although, I have to agree with you. If I was in a bad mood, I would rather be alone or keep quiet for the most part.

I think there are a few different types of "people people"..lol...I think there are those that have a natural gift for communication and then there are those that like people but never seem to come across the right way. It really can be a talent or a learned art. People are so different.
I think there are those that love to be around people no matter what kind of people they are and then there are those that only want to be around certain types of people.
Then there are those people with the people talent that just want to be by themselves at the end of the day to ponder it all or just forget.
I don't know if I am a people person..I guess it would depend on the person that meets me.

No choice to face too many people on working day,in fact, i don't like to make any new friends,it need a long time to touch,i also scared that.sometimes i will meet my old friends(not very, only two real friends)at cafe, or have lunch together at a restaurant,sometime, i hope i can stay at home alone, it all depend on mood.

i think i am a half people person.if i am doing sth important or thinking about sth,i only want the people i can trust sit around me ,or just sit alone.in other most situations,i want to be with my friends,relations,lover etc
