Great win for the Yankees today as the win in the bottom of the ninth 12-11 vs the Royals today. Andy Pettitte was worthless giving up 10 earned runs today. However, the Yankees tied it up in the bottom of the eighth scoring two runs. Mariano Rivera comes in a gives up a solo shot to put the Royals up 11 to 10 in the top of the ninth. But Johnny Damon gets his SIXTH hit of the game the plate the winning run in the bottom of the ninth after Jorge Posada ties it up with a solo homer. Very exciting win for the Yankees today.
