Got a problem with my external hard disk.

Hello every one, I have a problem with my external hardisk and I want your help, my problem is that my hardisk I think it was attacked by trojan and I can't fix it because every time I try to delete it the message says the you can not delete this file. What should I do to fix this without lossing my data in that hardisk, I have a Mcafee total security anti-visrus. Thank you in advance hope some one could help me.

I think you are using windows.Then try deleting the file in safe mode. Also try to delete it in dos mode with appropriate tags. You can also try to delete the file after stopping any processe which may be linked with the file and prevent you from deleting it. To end processes task manager-processes-right on a process-end process.

Hi, what type of file is this ? Is it a an exe ? You better stop its process with help of task manager... Now, try to delete it.... Or, you can use this command. Type it goto that directory del /f "file name"
