Why do people get so defensive when someone talks about Jesus?

I agree with you. Their are many people who think that the religion is every thing for them but not the people/human around them. I dont understand that these people build fence around their heart and dont allow good thoughts to come in .. love everyone are in word but not from heart..

you are right, people do get serious when someone says something negitive about god. but alot of times i see that with some makes a comment about god existing or something god has done, people will get upset and say why they think there isnt a god or something like that. and i want to know why people get so upset that someone believes in god.

hey sjlg,, yes this happens because they are not sure. Their Belief is not strong.. they get upset because they dont belive that god exist. My belief was not strong till the time i meet one of my friend who belived in god (strong ) and asked me to belive and the time i did - i got results and i started beliving in myself, life and the power of god.. What, how and why he want us to walk on the given path.. enjoy :)
