Have you ever forgoten your shoes ?

Hi! Its funny actually because I almost walked out the gate in my bedroom slippers!LOL^_^ Its not recently but I was all dressed(comfortable clothes) up to go out and meet my friends and my Mom was going with me to the jeep transport. We were in a bit of a hurry because she had to catch up to something and I was getting close to being late for a meeting with my friends. I was finished dressing up and getting my things together early so I watched tv while waiting for my Mom to finish up. She rushed me and so we were running down the stairs and I got to the gate. My pet dog walked up to me so I had to look down. Glad I did! because I saw that I was still wearing my bright pink with flowers on it bedroom slippers!LOL I didnt even notice it. I guess it was that comfortable that my feet didnt want to let go of it.LOL Im so grateful for my dog for that. If he hadn come up to me I would have gotten to the street corner still wearing my slippers!^_^

Actually, I nearly forgot my shoes one day! I was waiting for my boyfriend to come pick me up to go out but he was running just a bit late cause he had to stay back and finish some stuff at work. I decided I'm not going to put on my shoes now and was hanging around the house with my slippers on. When he arrived I told my dad I'm going and just rushed out the door. I don't know how I exactly noticed that I had on my slippers, but I noticed just as I was opening the gate! I turned back and ran inside, put on my heels and was on my way, slightly blushing. When my boyfriend asked me what happened? I told him that I was coming to go out with you in my rubber slippers. That would have been embarrassing...all dressed up but your feet aren't.

I do not like to wear shoes and go barefoot most of the time. When I do go anywhere I wear flip flops or something like that. One time I got out to the car and realized I had forgotten to put them on and had to come back in and get them.

I can't say I've ever forgotten my shoes when I've gone out, but I have a few related experiences. I have recurring dreams where I've left the house without my shoes and have gone to school or work without shoes - a very strange feeling indeed! And I've gone to a sleepover where someone took my shoes home with them the next morning and I had to go out to breakfast at a restaurant wearing shoes that were 3 sizes bigger than my own and obviously didn't match my outfit! And lastly, my sister once left the house in her slippers and didn't realize it til we were at the mall. All instances were very uncomfortable and I sympathize with people who have gone through this. But it makes for a funny story later on!
