would you consider a friend still a friend when that person instead of helping you with your current relationship to work but instead help flame your partner of your faults which eventually leads to the break-up? If you had this situation what would you do.

If a friend was to do that to me then I would definitely not be apt to consider him or her my friend anymore. A true friend would not exploit your faults to your bf but would rather mask those faults with the good things that you have and / or are. I would also feel sad that my bf believed this person but would realize that a true man or woman would not believe anyone but their own partner.

What the situation was that I made a mistake, mistake that I'm not proud of but then for me as a friend she should have been straight with me and warned me with my fault rather than going straight to my gf. She should have given me a chance to correct my mistake and make my relationship work.

I'm sorry that a friend did that to you. She should have just left well enough alone. I guess, even though it's just wrong to say, you found out who she was , even though it cost you a relationship.

I will stop to be her friend live my life normally because there's a lot of men in the world and perhaps that man wasn't the ideal for you. and there's a saying that say's: I'ts not the one that went away that is missing, is the one who's coming

I believe a friend should be there to support you and not interfere with their friends relationships, I have always thought when a friend is in a relationship then other friends should back off just a little but to be there if needed...

i would be a friend with that person if he tells me all of my faults privately so that i donot suffer humiliation. as he is trying to help me to rectify my faults but if he tells me my faults in front of other people then i might get mad at him as it would cause me humiliation. At the end it depends on the type of friend you are and what nature you have. Good luck
