How to protece my eyesight when sit in front of the computer for long hours?

I am a ship designer and sit a long time with a computer everyday.but this days I just feels my eye not well.You know.there many people who also work with computer.So how to protect our eyesight it is important .but do you know how to protect the eyesight? as far as I know .don't keep the eyes working for a long time (this don't fit me). and your opinion?just share with me.

The most important thing is to get up every now and then and look at something else. It's also a good idea to look out the window every now and then. It's really hard for your eyes to focu son a screen all day - believe me - I'm doing it.
