Do you keep the same phone number, or change it? I have had my same phone number for over 10 years. I have no reason to change it. But there are so many people that change numbers all the time. The only reason I would change mine is if I was moving out of the area. I hate changing phone numbers, then I would have to try to remember the new number, and give it to the people I know.

We keep the same number if we can, it just makes things a lot easier. I also keep my mobile number the same too if I can, it is such a pain to have to keep telling everyone that the number has changed. I think I have had my mobile number now for about 3 years.

Hi sunkissed. i change my number a lot. esp since i have no place to live and have cell phones. i plan to get rid of these cell phones and change my number or numbers again. everything is too expensive in so. ca. and i want to change to a cheaper company. i choose to change my number. i get a lot of harrassing calls too. it's a hassel but it's more of a hassel to overpay and to get so many unwanted calls. i did before keep a number for 7 years, that was befor re c-phones

Well when you change cell phone companies a lot you really have no choice but to change your number. I too hate those harrasing phone calls.

When you change phones you lose contact of a lot of people and just forget about who they are. Even though many of the contacts on your phone you dont' talk to its always nice to keep the same number.

That is true, so I never change mine, there are several people I may not talk to for a long time, but they always know how to contact me.

My house phone number its still the same. Its nineteen years of life for me and the number still stick with my house though three times my family have moved houses. For my mobile phone number its still the same too since i started using it five years back. Its easy for those who have my number to get it save for their use without asking them to change again for changes of numbers. My long lost friends still have the chance to contact me if they still keep my numbers.=)
