STEVE JOBS HAS JUST confirmed at the Worldwide Developer Conference in San Fransisco what everyone in the world, and his wife, thought they knew. There will be a new Iphonein 70 countries starting from July 11th. The Iphone 3G, starting at $199 for 8GB and going up to $299 for the 6GB version, will be even thinner, with a black plastic back, solid metal buttons, the same gorgeous display, camera, flush headphone jack, and dramatically improved audio. The 16GB version will also be available in white. Download speeds are much improved with a file which took 18 seconds to download on EDGE taking just five seconds on 3G. Battery life will be 300 hours standby with five hours of 3G talk time, seven hours of video or 24 hours of audio. GPS will also be built into the handset out of the box using Google maps for tracking. Iphone 2.0 software will have three main thrusts: Enterprise, third party software development and new end-user features. The phone will have Exchange support out of the box as well as push email. Hope my theard will bring on many discusions about the new IPHONE!!!
