Wondering how you remove those songs you do not want stored in Windows Media Player on your computer? It is not as difficult as you think. Here are some helpful tips to refining your digital music library.
Things You’ll Need:
# Computer
# Microsoft Windows Media Player
# Music
Step1:-
Open up Windows Media Player on your computer desktop (or start menu) by double-clicking the |icon similar to the one shown here.
Step2
Click the "Library" selection on the left hand side of your computer screen. Then, you can view either by music artist, songs, album title or list.
Step3
Once you are in the desired view click on the track you wish to delete from your music library. Remember that you can click on "CTRL" and "+" at the same time to highlight multiple tracks.
Step4
Once the tracks are highlighted, you can simply press the delete key on your keyboard. A confirmation may come up asking if you would like to delete this track from your computer as well. That is your choice.Music tracks are stored in the library and in the "My Music" or "Music" folder on your computer hard drive.
Step5
If you delete a song by accident, you will have reload it by CD or re-download it if you made the choice to delete it from your computer hard drive as well.
