I still haven't figure out what I should get for my dad yet. As usual he would say - " Don't waste your money, I am so old already no need all this fancy gifts or intentions ( e.g going out for dinners )" and " Those money making people are commercializing it too much these days, they have a day for everything" and he will shake his head.....lol. Every time without fail he would say that and on any occasion. And sometimes I am too straight forward and accepted whatever he have said and take it for granted the next time. That's bad ...huh. So what presents or plans you have in mind for your fat her? How is your dad's reaction usually ?

Yea. My family is going out for dinner. It's a yearly tradition and I think it's good to stick to it. I enjoy such dinner gatherings with my family. Other than Thank You, my daddy wouldn't day much. :)

Hee.. Congrats on your 100 posts. :) My daddy is pretty particular about food too. He only likes Chinese food. For the rest of us, we prefer more variety.

Hie poohgal, can't help but notice your pink piggy...so adorable..lol. That's great what you have planned; we would take our dad out too, he does not like to eat much but as long the ones he favors. I guess for us especially, food is the best solution and as you said this is the time where the whole family will gather together. This is my lucky 100th post :) with that wish you a wonderful day with your dad and happy posting!

Father's day is not as popular or important as mother's day, i realise.. MOst of the time, i will forget about father's day and not mother's day.. hehe ^_^ AS parents gets older, they wun ask for much gifts, but they will appreciate your thoughts for that ^_^ Even with no gift, just treat them a meal will do equally good ^_^ ALl parents ask for is for a harmony and ahppy family ^_^

Yes, that right, a meal would be more appropriate as the whole family could come together and enjoy, moreover who could resist food. It's either eat less or more...lol

Hie Beth, that's a wonderful, does not have to be some gifts. It's the sincerity and love from your heart that will move and touch him when you say it to your dad. And a perfect occasion too. Do have a wonderful great time together and happy posting!
