When applying to jobs have you recently been applying more online then going in person to apply because of gas prices n' such? Or hasn't that really changed for you? Do you find it easier to apply online? Which do you find gives off a better impression or don't you think it matters? What other things come to mind that you should be prepared for when it comes to applying to jobs?

I preferred online because I will not be able to waste money in time for job interviews, I do apply for walk in some times but I prefer calling them if they were hiring. I don't have a car but the fare is expensive now like gas price did. Maybe the disadvantage in online jobs it takes so long for them to call you because they prioritize the first one that applied to them, it depends on your qualification and even experience.

Personally, I prefer to apply in person though I check first the company's website to gather more information. I feel that if you do it in person you will have the greater chance of showing off your potentials to your prospective employers. You will have the chance to speak out your mind clearly on issues pertaining your application and interest in the position. Maybe to others it sound a bit outdated but I still believe applying in person is the best way of selling yourself and your credentials to future employers.
