I had my first intervew for 2 weeks ago and my sister is working there too, so say told me that her leader only picked 3 including me for a interview. But sadly the time doesnt match with my schools so I cannot work there. For a hour ago have I received another call from another job and asked if I can go for a interview by tmr. I am kind of curious how many they take in for a interview... but dont think it's so nice of me to ask her this question. do you know how many do they usually take in for a job interview?

It's ok to ask don't worry. Although, there are quite a lot of factors that they consider in taking interviews. It could be the number of people they need or the number of people who are qualified for the position or it could be something else. That would basically dictate how many they would consider. If they need just around 2 to 3 people, they usually get just the top 5-10% from the pool of applicants. If they need like 100+ (let's say there is new business coming up), they'll consider almost everyone who are qualified and take majority for interview (around 75-80%). Most of the companies to interview almost all, if not all, applicants to be fair with everyone.

thanks for answering ^^ In my first interview, I heard they got more then 15+ and only took in 3 for the interview. but they already choosed one after 3 days they announced the job offer. but first this one that I am coming to tmr, have had it up for a week now and I think they only need 1-2. I think it's abit weird that they still have not found one yet. lol I only sent in my info for 2 days ago... which mean they are not slow at taking in XD

No problem at all. I wish you all the best in your job application. I'm applying for a job as well. Usually, if they chose only very few for the interview, that means there really is around 2 (more or less) positions available and they only chose who are qualified. Do your best this time as they have their eyes set on you as a prospective employee. Since they responded quickly to your application, their need may be urgent. Take care and good luck!

That isn't a question that anyone can answer, except the interviewer. It all depends on how many positions are open, what skills they are looking for, and how much time the interviewer has. My advice is to not worry about how many others are being interviewed, believe that you are the one who is best for the job and they will see that when you enter the room.
