NGO's ANTI CRIME TASK FORCE? ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?

im one of a voluntee member of anti crime task force a non government organization. a volunteer means no salary no income. it aims to assist person in authority for peace and order. do i have to continue with this organization wherein our life is in threat. need some advise. specifically, with my experience with the police who are so boastful.
