how many friends is enough?

it is said that the more friends you have, the more success your life is. do you agree with it? in fact, i have a different idea. there are always some successful and famous people who are alone or with few friends. so what is your idea? how many friends do you have? do you think is it enough?

I agree with anaknitatay. You can't have enough of them, as long as they are real friends, not someone with a hidden agenda.

Well, there are some people who claim to be your friends, but actually they have approached you for other purposes. For example, when I was in college, there are some guys who would act all nice and pretending to want to be your friend, but actually, they are just too lazy to do their own assignments, so they just wanted to copy the assignment that you have already done. Or, if it was a group assignment, they usually never show up to do the assignment.

If you have too many friends you don't have time for all of them. I think that it depends on your friendship activity level. For some peoples 2,3 friends are enough and for others even 10 friends in the same time isn't enough.

it seems nowadays more and more people will choose as many friends as possible. for them, friends is a wealth of life.

yes, maybe it is that we should have few true friends while keep in touch with many so called friends. while, sometimes it is a little tiresome to do like that.

No, I don't really agree with that. I think the closer the relationship the better it will be. You can have friends, but finding ones that really mean something to you is great. I like the idea of having four or less close friends than a large circle of friends. The smaller the group the more you get to kow each other.

maybe many times we should say it is better to have as few true friends as possible, while we should have enough acquitances to make thing easier.

A good and sincere friend is enough to make you successful.There is no limit to make friend. You should make as many friends as you can but never make a enemy.

i am quiet agree with you. while, there are so many people around me being on the oposite side, and they always forced their idea on my mind. it is annoying.
