Depends on where you are. Different countries use different frequencies. The standard frequencies used by GSM is 850, 900, 1800, and 1900MHz. And if I'm not mistaken, UMTS and HSDPA uses 1900 and 2100MHz, while CDMA uses 800 and 1900MHz.
