why do people scared to die?

i scared to die. but while my mood was in bad mood.i don't scare to die.hehe

people are afraid to die because of the attachment to the material things.

The end of life is the end of consciousness. It is the end of thoughts and the end of the bonds that keep a person connected with this world--the people that a person has come to love, have come to hate, motivations, goals, dreams. It is difficult for a person to even think about where their thoughts just stop, a period of nothing, of either letting go of everything before you enter a slow, peaceful slumber, or having everything you know violently ripped from you. People are scared because it is hard to imagine something different outside of the life that they already have. I know that dying is my greatest fear.
