What was your favorite pet?

I love to hear my dad talk about the dog he had as a kid. They would follow him to the store and wait for him outside. No matter how long he took the dog would be there when he came out. Those memories are so precious to him. Did you have a favorite pet from your youth?

oh yes I did his name was nikkie he was a saimse cat I had him for 21 years an he would also walk with me whereever i went he was always close behind an he had such a gentle soul i rescud a brown pelican an nikkie use to carry it in his mouth fom the pelicans bed in the bathroom to our bed an I also took in a dove that was hurt an when nikkie would sit on the windowsill he would jump down an gently pick the dove up an place it on the window with him an when my girls were born he would sit bysides them an guard them I miss you nikkie

Awww, he sounds like he was such a sweet cat. Kinda like a mix between a dog and a cat. I hope I can get a Siamese one day but I just found out that my fiancee doesn't like them. :/ Oh well, I love him more than I love cats so I guess it'll be ok.

I guess my favorite pet would have to be "Tippy" a fox terrier I had growing up. I don't remember much about him. But, he is the reason I love animals so much.

I can't say a "favourite" of my pets, as I love and loved them all he same, but if we're talking about pets of our youth, that I can answewr, because there was only one, our dog Penny.
We got her when I was only two, and she lived until I was 18.
