No, not for me. It is really hard to find a job specially if you are an immigrant. You probably change career just to get a job. what about you? do you find it easy to look for a job?

I've found some jobs but only freelance/contract work that hasn't lasted long. Got the jobs done and got paid plus trying to be a writer as well. It really isn't easy but I think it comes down to what you want to do. I wrote a piece about job findings and the future is going to be probably more companies are going to start having regular work at home jobs but that's just my guess.

No problem. I just wish I could help more on that and give some suggestions on what could work. It's just difficult in these times in general. We are living in hard times and you have to wonder when will it end. That is all I can say. All we can do is just go on a searching spree and see if we can find something that can pay on a consistent basis and being enough to pay bills and whatnot.

I think jobs are easy to find as long as your not picky. Most people just don't want to work a job that's dirty or requires sales of any sort but if you need work then get any job you can while you look. Most employers will be more apt to hire you if your already working because that shows your dilligant.

You have a good idea!! I think you are right.. if one is not picky, job is available like house keeping, baby sitting, care giving tutorial, substituting... I can do that.. but the problem is my transportation.

Yes, that is the big challenge when moving / immigrating to another country. It takes a while to find the right job there. I went through that too. After a while , things worked out fine. So, don't give up. You will find the job you like. Best wishes to you.

Thank you greenline for your encouragement. I am out of work for almost 2 years now. It;s because of some licensing that I need to have before I can be hired. Well, I know it takes time.

I have being looking for a part time job latley and got into 2 interview. But both of them want someone that can work full time or else I could get that job.... that's so sad when I heard it, but I still have to finish school and I think I can start to earn money later after I have finished everything.

Are you in Canada? Why is it hard to look for a job if you are an immigrant? In our case here in Southeast Asia, although I also stay in a country I'm not a citizen in,I find it easy to land a job. Right now I'm on choosing between two jobs and it's really hard to decide.Don't worry, maybe you will earn online better than in your offline job.

Well, I'm in the US. I need to have driver's license which is hard for me because I'm sacred on the road. lol. I need also state license for my degree. So, there are a lot of things to do before I can set my foot in the right job I want.

For me not, its not easy to find a job nowadays. Many companies want have more experiences than to train an individual to work for their company.

correct!! I agree with you. Experience is more important in here when you apply a job.
