Locks of Love

My best friend did that a few years ago. She let her hair grow out almost to the middle of her back and then put it in a pony tail and whacked it off at the neck. She said that she felt wonderful because not only did she help someone in need but she also had a reason to change her hairstyle :-) Its funny that you have posted this, or that I happened to come across it today bacause just last week i was commenting on how long her hair had gotten once again and she smiled and said "i hope whoever gets it this time enjoys it as much as I have". Needless to say, shes gonna whack it off again.

I have never done that before, but one of my friends did at one point. She had really long hair cause she never cut it up until she was 17, I think. I can't remember how much you actually have to have though to be able to donate it. I think it would be cool to donate hair to locks of love, but my hair naturally doesn't seem to grow very long for some reason. I can go for years without really cutting it and it just won't grow past a certain point. Anyway, I think it's a really great organization and definitely worth contributing to.
