Has the United Nations gone redundant???

Blokes ..when have u heard last of United Nations doing something of note except bending over backwards to serve the interests of the G-8??
I deem it fit that the United Nations be dissolved & instead we have this Continental centers of power to mull over the needs of its population.Besides that would also counter the threat that China presents to a rejuvenated India & still powerful US of A.
The day is not far off when we see fragments of Africa tearing itself into pieces due to ravaging civil wars,malnutrition and AIDS.Who's to blame ?Is it not UN's duty to see to the needs of a continent scourged by the oil beasts of USA , & what have they given back in return,AIDS???
A major reshuffle is long overdue to keep the balance of world power intact, what with the demonic rise of the "sickle".

i totally agree. as a south african resident, i see how they turn a blind eye. no value for life. just ha ppy to be in power incase the moneypots of the world need some help taking something over.

I think theyve gone redundant... bloody hell, i mean China has also gotten ahold of some US of A's land cuz they're in so much debt! China seems to be taking control of everything these days, with a booming market (I wonder why? could it be the forced work of children????) But i havn't seen the united nations do much since they had to defend themselves in WWII.
