Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. For me, cooking is not just about producing a good tasting recipe. It's a soul healing experience! And, I love to think while I'm cooking. I like to mull over daily problems, until I find a solution. Some of my best ideas for MyLot discussions, come to me, while I'm cooking.
Food is one of the few pleasures we're allowed here on earth. It doesn't cost a lot and it's one of the few things we can share. Whether your share your homecooked meals with family or strangers, it's instantly recognized as wholesome.
Why do you cook? What drives you to go back into the kitchen daily? What do you think about while you're cooking?

I go through stages of cooking, one minute I am constantly in the kitchen trying out new ideas and cooking everything from scratch. Then I get fed up of it and just go back to convenience cooking and everything comes out of a box or a tin.
A lot of the reason I choose convenience is that it can work out cheaper in the long run plus I do not always have time to be in the kitchen cooking a meal. With four children, school runs, homework and everything else to be cooking meals from scratch would mean late meals for the kids and they just want to eat as soon as they get home!

Hello dear beauty queen. It is an interesting discussion. Why do we cook? While appreciating the food cooked by our loved and chefs, we have to also consider cooking an art because it is absolutely not easy for one to make as not only tasty but also artistic food that is shared and enjoyed. You need to think a lot about how to cook the food to the way you want. I am sure that my dear beauty queen is a very nice chef with deep thought. Enjoy your thinking while cooking simultaneously. I like to cook but this isn't my passion. I agree that this is one of those simple pleasures in the life that makes us happier whenever we are doing it. I cook only when I'm hungry and can't eat anything cooked before ^^. I don't think about any other things while I'm cooking, couse I don't want to burn anything, hehe. Cheers and happy cooking.
