Multipolarization OR Monopolarization ?

As we all at present, America is the biggest power and there are also some strong countries such as Russia, Britain, German, France, India, China, Japan, etc. Most of these strong countries are stepping up to catch up with America. However, it seems that the gap between America and other countries are increasingly great. So monopolarization may be a trend. May I have your preference, multipolarization or monopolarizaiton ?
