Do you wish things like this really happened?

In the alchemist i noticed the main part was of the mind and its powers.I was really amused at the thought of thinking hard enough to create something. Its been a while since i read it so if im not mistaken its about the atr of creating gold from ordinary metal and a story of a boy and his journey-all the difficulties he faced before he could achieve his goal.Ilove this concept and found myself thinking how great it would be if our minds were that powerful.don't you think? But its just wishful thinking. :)

i haven't read this book in a while as well, so i really can't recall the exact scenario. but this book inspired me a whole lot and i actually started to see life differently. i guess this is the same concept of "positive thinking". i guess things like this are really possible. believe in one thing and you find yourself heading toward that direction in terms of decisions and the like, and you see your dreams become reality.
