As a freelance corporate trainer,I met lot of software professionals,who are striving like anything to get into Freelance profession in IT.Well We do appreciate their desire to be the one in Freelance market.Before freelancing one should be thorough with their skills,self management style to acquire a business on freelance.

Good question. Any want to become a Freelance professional should make a self assesment. About their qualification, experience, communication skills, patient, preseverence, etc., To become a successfull freelancer you need to be focussed on particular area of expertise and constantly get yourself updated. A clear and effective profile, certificates , testimonials will help a lot. Fair bidding and honesty will help a lot.
