Why do we latch our home ?

the main reason why we lock our home is to keep unwanted visitors out of the house. it's just common sense. why do you lock something? coz you don't want anyone to access it right? same goes with your house. you lock it coz you don't want anyone to to go in without your permission.

That's a good question. We lock our house to keep the burglars out, but if they are really set on stealing things won't they just break in? I guess not locking the doors would just be an invitation to get robbed. Maybe it just makes us feel more secure.
