As a lot of my friends know I am working from home writing a policy and procedure manual for a local physician so he can get his sleep center accredited. I was bummed out because once I finished with the manual I would run out of work to do and my job would be finished. I told the office manager that I would do any work that she needed me to do. I would like to stay on as long as possible. I turned in the last policy on Monday and am waiting for the doctor to approve or give them back to me to make changes. Until he gives me the changes I am in a holding pattern without work to do. I got a call the other day and the office manager she wanted me to come and asked me if I would make a brochure for the office. They use to have one on a computer but the computer crashed and they lost it. So they asked me to make a new brochure for them. Woo hoo more work! When I went into the office to get the info for the brochure the office manager gave me three more projects on top of that. I am so thrilled. I may even be writing a TV commercial for the doc, or gathering the info for the commercial. This job thing may last longer then I expected. yayayayayaya. I am so jazzed I wanted to start on the brochure the minute I got home, but I couldn't because I had already gotten all of my hours for this pay period. I will start this weekend. Now the hard starts I have only made one brochure before and that was with help from my coworkers. I think I can do this myself. I have never written a commercial, but I know I can gather the info and give it to the people at the TV station and they can work their magic.

I'm glad your getting more jobs now. Its not easy when you are worried about getting future jobs. Good luck with the commercial. Its sounds like a great challenging job.

It is going to be very challenging for me. I will continue to do what I can for the doctor. I know they need the employee handbook retyped and fixed. I have suggested I get that done also. I think the office manager has lots of chores for me to do. yayayaya

That's awesome that you are able to work from home and get paid doing it. Also just as you thought your work was completed, more work became available. Congrats to you and may there be more work in store for you when you finish this task.

Thank you. I am disabled and can only work a few hours a month. I find it nice that I can work from home because when I do not feel well I can go and lay down. I have known this doctor for close to 15 years he knows my reputation and trusts me. He was the one to approach me to write the book. He asked me last September and I did not have the never to call his office manager until December. My last job I was trashed so badly, I was sick but the people I worked with (my friends) told so many lies about me I did not think I could hold my head up in this town again. I am an RN, sleep tech, and we only have one hospital that I had worked for, for 20 years. Now I know I can do more then just nursing. I can do professional writing about work. Now they want me to do a brochure, handouts, a news letter, and gather info and wirte the commercial to submit to the cable company. WoW do they have faith in me and so do I.
