I had six students in my class today and we were discussing about Victor's daily activities. When we were in the middle of our discussion we came across to this topic that Victor's supervisor shouted at him for five minutes. My students were surprised and they asked me if there is someone like Victor's supervisor in real life? I laughed, so I asked them this question, "What if... what are you going to do if someone shout at you for five minutes?" The first student said, "I will hit him/her, but teacher he said, I'm not going to hit you..." :) The second student said, "I will just listen." :( The Third student said, "I will keep quiet." -) The fourth student said, "I will cry." hu hu hu! The fifth student said, "I will shout and shout!" The sixth student said, if he/she is my classmate, I will shout at him/her but if she is my teacher or my parents I will keep quiet and listen to them. How about you???

Well, five minutes is very long. My initial reaction would be to keep quiet and listen. I know that someone will not shout at me if I didn't do anything wrong or I didn't neglect any duties. I will listen carefully to his words. I am an impatient person, if the yelling gets too long I sometimes answer but as I mature I have learned to listen well. Sometimes a person shouts because of stress and pressure. If you already know the person very well you will just let him/her pour out his/her stressed thoughts. I do that too "pouring out of stressed thoughts" but not shout. I usually cry alone and think and think and think and think. Take care =)
