why do you make so little in ptc sites

i still havent been able to wrap my head around the fact the you get paid so little on thosee paid to click site. like one cent every 30 econds. i could make tat much nagging my parents. ive seen ones with tw cents and even 6 cents but those are all scams. it seems that the company pays 2 cents every time theor addis veiwed and then the company keeps 1 cent and you get 1 cent of the money! its good money for the company but not for alot of users
