What kind of fly spray do you use that works good for your horses? A lot of them I've tried doesn't seem to work very good. I've had the best luck with Avon Skin So Soft and it makes the horses smell good too! I've heard of several homemade sprays that you can mix up yourself, but have never tried any. Does anyone have any suggestions for good fly sprays? Thanks

I believe we use Bronco at our barn. But then again, that just may be the container and not the actual fluid that we put in it for refill. Our farrier said that equispot works really well, and that we should try it. I would suggest that, I suppose, but if not, just try buying anything at the local tack shop. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive, so long as it works!

I have tried a lot of the expensive fly sprays out there but don't find any difference between the cheap and the more expensive ones. So I just use Bronco when I do use fly spray. Although my horse do live in fly sheets all summer long. I also have recently heard that rubbing fresh mint on your horse will keep the flies away. I have planted some in my garden and will try it when the flies start coming out this year. As we have had cool weather this year so far and I havent seen many yet.
