When Daddy was a Mummy

When I was in 8th grade my family decided to move an hour away from our home. I didn't want to move at all, but we had to. Yes in my bratty soon to be a high schooler way, I rebelled. I wore all black and cut newspaper articles about the new town and gave them to my parents. One such article was about a situation that was VERY disturbing! A woman had actually mummified her husband to keep him in the house with her and her children. This guy had been sick or whatnot and died in the house. Apparantly Ma turned her hubby into a mummy. The kids thought daddy was still alive as Ma had told them so. Turned out Ma didn't do such a good job with the mummification process and daddy mummy kinda took on a strange smell. The neighbors called the police and as it turned out it was somewhat illegal to mummify a person. Geez people if you are going to try to walk like an Egyptian, get the basic facts first. Lol! How creepy is this on a scale of 1-10? And yea I still bug my parents about this one.

What kids will do to make a point lol very original I must say. Now about this crazy lady who mummified her husband, she is creepy and if 10 means the highest I give her a 10. What happened to the kids? Did the story ever follow up on them?
