Now that the Barbecue Season is here, have you tried this Dessert??

Take some bananas, without peeling them and let them get really hot on the grill over the coal. If they are almost black, they are done. Take them off the heat and and let them cool a bit. then cut them with a knife so that you can squeeze in some pieces of your favorite chocolate and let it melt. You can eat your dessert with a small spoon - enjoy!! ....

I've tried them this way. As well we make smores with them as well. Do the banana on the grill and do your marshmellow as well. Have the melted chocolate and your graham waffers ready. Very very yummy. I am happy that we are having a fire in a about 30 minutes to an hour. I am really looking forward to them now. Hopefully I can con someone into grabbing some bananas for me.

I have never heard of that before. I know bananas and chocolate are good together so maybe this will be good. I'll have to try it one day. You can only do it on the grill?

It works in the oven or on the stove in a frying pan with rather low heat I guess. You can always test and see how long time it takes until the banana is cooked inside.
