how much do you save from your income??

Hi carrotcake.....I am never able to save anything, as soon as I save some money, some unavoidable expenses pops up and I am left with no choice but to use my little savings.....I don't think I am even able to save 2 percent of my salary.......besides credit cards takes away everything at the end of a month......How I hate these credit cards........it is because of these credit cards that we cannot control our temptations........

I save 50% of my earnings. I always make sure that I have enough savings. Like you when I was in college and during my first 2 years having a job I do lots of shopping, Outings, partying and anything that involves expenses. But when you become more matured and more decided to prepare for your future, decision making should be your main priority. Think about what will happen in case of emergency when you do not have savings, such thinking when practice everyday will help you put into the right place weather to save or not to save. i am not able to save much. i have thought many times taht this month i will save more. but all the expenses come like that. now also i have lot more to spend. the salary has alaso not incrasd.

Saving from the monthly income is a good habit.if we save some amount it will be helpful to us in emergencies.in the beginning of my service career i had not planned for saving for which once i had to depend on loans from my friends and brothers to meet medical expenses.but since then i have decided to save a portion of my income and the practice yet continuing.usually i save 40% of my income every month.thanx.

as now and then we all plan to make savings so that we had enough money in our kitty for some uncertainty.myself also plans a lot . as i m going to be engaged in the job in the near future .i will plan it out after spending on all my necessary things like rent, food, travelling, phone, clothes,lets hope i could make at least 10%savings.
