Have you ever started an argument with someone on purpose. Like maybe you wanna go out with no questions asked, so you start an argument with your hubby so you will have the opportunity to storm out of the house. Or, you don't have a gift for someone for a holiday, so you start an argument with them right before that holiday. Or, you don't want to do someone a favor that you promised them that you would do, so you start an argument with them so that they won't be expecting you to do it. I could go on and on ... have you ever started an argument on purpose?

That is so evil! It is Machiavellian at the highest order and that is not the way I have been constructed so it is totally alien to me. I can imagine some people doing that though and it sends a shudder down my spine to think about that.

Yeah, it is highly deceptive and manipulative. But, imagine that there are people that do it. If started arguments with me on purpose I would feel betrayed and as if they played me. It wouldn't sit well with me. Then, could you ever trust the person.

Well, a lot of people who know me think I am very arguementative. But no , I hve never started an arguement on purpose though a lot of people who know me may disagree. But even if I wanted to start an arguement on purpose I don't think I could do it on purpose because I forgot a gift or something. :)

I've never done that before, and I never will. I don't see any reason to start an argument just to have the opportunity to storm out. My husband and I disuss eerything, and we don't argue with eachother.
