I was just thinking about how we really live our lives and the faces we give the world and how in the end it really will only end meaning nothing.... What is the one thing in your life that when you look back when you are old and gray that you will be the most proud of?

I used to think of doing something great in my life and I guess this is something that human beings share. There is a longing for the great and great things seem to be a magnet for all. It is however, all easier said than done and in the end the dreams and aspirations we have as youth fade and become meaningless memory. Even those who dreamed of great wealth and power and achieved both find that there is no way to bring either to the next life. What is the meaning of all this?

In my opinion, that is what happens when people lose their way and compromise their life. Which is sad. Staying true to oneself is what builds character and strength.....which is a great, great thing in life as opposed to reaching the top of the corporate world and not knowing who you can trust. Thanks for the response underdogtoo.

Well if I had to choose just one it would be choosing to keep my son and be a single mom. I love him more then life itself and couldn't live without him. Other things I am proud of is graduating from High School and working as a home health care nurse because I touched alot of lives doing that job.

It takes a special person to care for others....way to go. And I applaud you for being a single mom....I hope in a couple years I may be doing the same thing myself. Any tips?

Probably how I treated my wife and family. My kids will see that I broke the cycle from where I came, even though they won't know it.

This question is usually aksed by many people. We are very vulnerable to a confused about our life goals. We are always have a lot of ambition when we are young but this ambition will disappear with the pass of time. Not everyove of us can do a major event like the great man and what's the most precious in our life?Compared with those people struggling in the war and hunger, our calm and stability life is just we should be proud.
